Fine-tune how MentionRank monitors your websites.

Accessing Website Settings

1. Click on any website card
2. Select the Settings tab
3. Configure options below

Basic Settings

Website Name

The display name for this website in your dashboard.

Domain

The primary domain being tracked. To change:

1. Remove the current website
2. Add the new domain
3. Historical data won't transfer

Industry

Your primary industry category. Affects:

• Suggested prompts
• Benchmark comparisons
• AI-generated insights

Scan Settings

Scan Frequency

(Based on your plan)

• Daily
• Weekly
• Custom schedule (Agency)

Scan Time Preference

When to run automatic scans:

• Morning (6-10 AM your timezone)
• Afternoon (12-4 PM)
• Evening (6-10 PM)
• Overnight (12-6 AM)

AI Models to Include

Select which AI models to scan:

• ✅ ChatGPT
• ✅ Claude
• ✅ Gemini
• ✅ Perplexity

Deselecting models may affect score calculation.

Notification Settings

Score Alerts

• Notify on significant changes (>5 points)
• Notify on any change
• Custom threshold setting

Scan Notifications

• When scan completes
• Only if issues detected
• Never

Delivery Method

• Email
• In-app
• Both

Advanced Settings

Brand Variations

Track mentions of:

• Your brand name
• Product names
• Common misspellings
• Abbreviations

Competitor Settings

• Auto-detect competitors
• Manual competitor list only
• Competitor alert threshold

Data Settings

• Include in public benchmarks (anonymized)
• API access enabled
• Webhook notifications

Dangerous Zone

Pause Website

Temporarily stop scanning without losing data.

Archive Website

Move to archive. Retains data but stops scans and frees up website slot.

Delete Website

Permanently remove website and all associated data. This cannot be undone.
