Invoices and Tax Information
Access invoices and manage tax details through Stripe's customer portal.
Accessing Invoices
All invoices are generated and managed by Stripe:
Invoice History
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click "Manage Subscription"
- View all past invoices in Stripe's portal
- Download as PDF
Invoice Details
Each invoice includes:
- Unique invoice number
- Date and amount
- Description of charges
- Payment status
- Tax breakdown (if applicable)
Automatic Invoices
After each payment, Stripe automatically:
- Generates an invoice
- Sends email receipt to your account email
- Makes PDF available in customer portal
Tax Information
Adding Tax ID
For business accounts, you can add your VAT or Tax ID through Stripe's customer portal:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click "Manage Subscription"
- Update your tax information in Stripe
VAT/GST
If you're in a region with VAT/GST:
- Stripe calculates tax based on your location
- Add your VAT number for potential exemptions
- Tax shown on invoices
Billing Address
Your billing address appears on invoices:
- Access Stripe customer portal
- Update your billing details
- Changes apply to future invoices
Currency
All prices are displayed and charged in USD. Your bank may apply currency conversion if your card uses a different currency.
