Invoices and Tax Information

Access invoices and manage tax details through Stripe's customer portal.

Accessing Invoices

All invoices are generated and managed by Stripe:

Invoice History

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. View all past invoices in Stripe's portal
  4. Download as PDF

Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:

  • Unique invoice number
  • Date and amount
  • Description of charges
  • Payment status
  • Tax breakdown (if applicable)

Automatic Invoices

After each payment, Stripe automatically:

  • Generates an invoice
  • Sends email receipt to your account email
  • Makes PDF available in customer portal

Tax Information

Adding Tax ID

For business accounts, you can add your VAT or Tax ID through Stripe's customer portal:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. Update your tax information in Stripe

VAT/GST

If you're in a region with VAT/GST:

  • Stripe calculates tax based on your location
  • Add your VAT number for potential exemptions
  • Tax shown on invoices

Billing Address

Your billing address appears on invoices:

  1. Access Stripe customer portal
  2. Update your billing details
  3. Changes apply to future invoices

Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in USD. Your bank may apply currency conversion if your card uses a different currency.
